Behind the Program: Rachel Caton
Rachel first thought of Religa after being reached out to by eager professionals looking to break into medical device. She had a passion for helping due to her own experience entering the industry.
Rachel started in orthopedic trauma sales at 21 years old. Her first day being Christmas Eve while on Christmas break from Liberty University.
She utilized her first medical device job to satisfy her last semester’s requirement to have an internship. She then graduated the spring of 2017 with 5 months of medical device already under her belt.
In one year, she was named salesman of the year as the only woman at the distributorship.
Interested in pivoting to a more impactful career, she joined the number one robotics company. She was dropped from the interview process midway, but showed up to the interview site and ultimately got the job.
After 3 years, promoted at every earliest timeframe, she transitioned to the first key account manager at a pre FDA surgical robotics company. Her territory - the United States.
She then leveraged that role to return to the major robotics company and promote to capital sales. In 2025, she won capital sales manager of the year.
So how did she break in with no sales experience, no medical device connections, and no time in the real world?
Religa provides the path, mentorship and answers to replicate the process.
